An unwavering champion of the worlds of design, fashion, and fine craft, the Grands Prix de la Ville de Paris celebrate their 30th anniversary in 2023. Through these awards given out each year to emerging or established talents, these honors highlight creative fields and show off all their dynamism, as well as the commitment of the City of Paris to these industries.

Designer
Graduated from ENSCI Les Ateliers. She trained with some of contemporary design’s most iillustrious names—the Bouroullec brothers and Stefan Diez. In 2017, with Sacha Hourcade, they founded their own firm Natacha & Sacha.
Textile Designer
Anna Saint Pierre works on the memory of places through the collection and reuse of demolition materials. She takes part in architectural projects, identifying resources among the building rubble and designing alternative materials for reuse on site: the memory of the former structure becomes a part of the new project. A textile designer by training, she defended a thesis entitled Textiliser la mémoire bâtie (“Textilizing” built memory), which she had prepared within the Sciences Arts Création Recherches (Science, Art, and Design Research) lab in Paris. Between 2018 and 2021, her research was included in projects for the SCAU architectural firm, with the support of the ANRT, and was the subject of a residency at the Manufacture de Sèvres lab. In 2022, she was awarded the Grand Prix de la Création in emerging design and created two 1% artistic works.
Designer
Born in France, Sam Baron has a degree in Design from the Fine Arts School of Saint Etienne and a post-graduate degree from the National Decorative Arts School of Paris. Baron loves to reinterpret traditional methods of construction, raising questions about the utility of today's material productions. He creates products, exhibition and interior design projects, giving life to cross-over works mixing art and design. He is an independent designer and consultant for international companies such as Louis Vuitton, La Redoute, Vista Alegre and the French liquor brand Hennessy. He has been consultant as Design director for Fabrica, the international communication research center based in Italy, during a decade. In 2009 Baron received the "Grand Prix de la Creation de la Ville de Paris" in the design category and in 2010 Philippe Starck selected him as one of the ten important designers of the next decade. Recently sam has been awarded with the special PAD paris fair price. Sam Baron currently lives and works between Portugal and France where he recently took part of the think tank platform Thinkers&Doers.
Journalist
A professional journalist for over 20 years, Olivier Waché specializes in the worlds of home, decor, design, and lifestyle. Working independently over the past decade, he collaborates with many magazines: Ideat, The Good Life, Le Journal de la Maison, Maison Créative, Résidences Décoration, Femme Actuelle… and more. A keen observer of evolutions in living conditions, he worked with le French Design by VIA on the composition of two books as part of the Domovision collection. In 2014, he founded WOC, a writing firm, which provides high-value content and advice to professionals: public relations firms, brands, fine craftspeople, and architects.
