Alvaro Aramburu

Designer & Rising Talent Spain Maison&Objet 2023

Álvaro Aramburu (Madrid, 1991) "After training as an industrial designer in Madrid, I leave the city and move to a village lost in the Swedish forest. Seeking contrast, I embrace wood as a medium, distance myself from industrial products, and reinvent my creative process. Since then, I design and produce both functional and artistic objects, with furniture as the cornerstone of my craft, and timber as the raw material."

Max Mila Serra

Max Milà Serra draws his practice from daily life; things that surround him and his own experiences. Which he then transforms through light and motion in his effort to reach a deeper understanding of them. This approach results in installations, light instruments, lit objects and light emitting objects. Some of his main processes are working with scale (turning what is usually big into something small / working in the smallest possible way), reproducing in a framed way natural phenomena and the will to give life to his works through movement.
