In parallel to the Design Impulse exhibition organised by FRENCH DESIGN by VIA, Maison&Objet is organising a round table discussion on the role of design for companies in the bathroom market. Indeed, design is intuitively associated with the creation of objects, but it supports a more global approach. It is a strategic tool for the transformation of the company, which drives attractiveness, performance, influence, innovation and development. Ambiance Bain and Sanijura, the two brands presented in the exhibition and invited to speak at this round table, give proof of this by example, accompanied by their designers.

During his studies at Strate Design School he was already collaborating with well-known agencies: Les Sismo (Paris) and Studio Suppanen (Finland). In 2012 he joined Studio Ora-ïto and worked on projects that were both varied and thrilling. In 2017 he founded his own design studio. Thanks to these experiences, Bastien accompanies young small or mid-sized companies, manufacturers and major brands with the same goal, create emotion and added value. His work is a perpetual quest for simplicity and precision while paying special attention to the uses and processes of each object he conceives. The material guides him in each creation.

After directing marketing and communications teams at major brands for over 15 years, specifically in the areas of habitation, decoration and interior design, Pascale Delplace has occupied the post of Marketing and Business development at Sanijura since 2018. The company, part of the Kohler Group, is located in the Jura Mountains and has manufactured bathroom furniture for over one hundred years. Sanijura is one of the rare bathroom brands whose name is known by its actual users.

A professional journalist for over 20 years, Olivier Waché specializes in the worlds of home, decor, design, and lifestyle. Working independently over the past decade, he collaborates with many magazines: Ideat, The Good Life, Le Journal de la Maison, Maison Créative, Résidences Décoration, Femme Actuelle… and more. A keen observer of evolutions in living conditions, he worked with le French Design by VIA on the composition of two books as part of the Domovision collection. In 2014, he founded WOC, a writing firm, which provides high-value content and advice to professionals: public relations firms, brands, fine craftspeople, and architects.
