Defining a new identity to be more inclusive, promoting an eco-responsible approach in the design of the villages, embracing a social and inclusive economy... more than ever, the Olympic Games want to reflect today's challenges. Alongside the sporting events, the aim is also to bring to life the cultural and economic partnerships built around this unifying event, by placing design at the heart of the overall strategy.

Directeur Design, Responsable de l'excellence design - Decathlon
As Head of Design Excellence, Jacques supervises a team of multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary talents whose aim is to support the Group's designers in their development and creativity. Organised by speciality (textiles - bags - footwear - hard goods - ecodesign), the Labs for which he is responsible offer tools and processes for creating ranges and innovating in each area. Jacques is passionate about footwear design, with over 20 years' experience. After studying at Strate College, he began his career as a footwear designer with FILA, then SALOMON. After working on high-end products at ShoeConcept, he joined DECATHLON in 2012. For him, the strength of design in a company comes from the ability to collaborate between specialists in each discipline of the business, which makes it possible to offer the best 360° experiences.
