Boldness is at the heart of Maison&Objet’s DNA!
Design dares, experiments, and provokes. But where does this creative boldness come from? Is it a legacy, a necessity, or a mindset? Designers, architects, thinkers, and publishers come together to debate the value of audacity in an industry where taking risks often means breaking the rules—or sparking renewal.

Interior Designer
Rodolphe Parente founded his own studio in 2009 after working alongside Andrée Putman. Within his studio, he develops a desire for heterogeneity and designs projects on a variety of scales: residential, hotels, boutiques, furniture. His aesthetic influences include the innovative spirit of the 30s, the glamour of the 70s and the radicalism of the 80s. Ingenious, expressive materials, a certain whimsy and an openness to contemporary uses are sublimated in his projects. All testify to this desire for imagination, precision and constantly reinvented modernity. His creations advocate luxury tinged with lightness, advocate curiosity and honor art. Rodolphe Parente is fond of crossovers and unexpected details.
