Interior Designer
Dorothée Delaye's style has been shaped over the years, between Paris, Marseille, the French South-West, and her other loves: Florida, California and Brazil. A life like a journey, she finds a wellspring of inspiration from elements, nature, and movement. Delaye designs for private residences, villas, restaurants and luxury hotels. From Gabrielle Chanel's private apartment to Jean-François Piège's new table at the Hôtel de la Marine, from a collector's house in Hossegor for Iconic House and the Hôtel Mercedes for Paris Society. In Paris and London, as well as on the shores of the Mediterranean, new projects are emerging. Inspired by history and the natural and territorial roots of places, Dorothée Delaye revives interiors with elegance. She awakens sleeping beauties by pushing boundaries, taking risks and cultivating the art of contrasts and harmony. Her collaborations with craftsmen, artists and emerging talents give rise to spaces and furniture designed to stand the test of time. Delaye’s taste for bold design, passion for custom pieces, and creative freedom embody her first furniture collection, “Habiter sur l'eau”. Revealed at Paris Design Week in September 2024, the first opus brings together intimate creations driven by a penchant for natural materials and her signature curvy, soft edge style. Our agency is currently working on several luxury hotels and Michelin-starred restaurants both in France and internationally, including the iconic Monte Carlo Beach Club. Numerous projects are set to be launched in 2025 and 2026, including the opening of a festive restaurant in Marrakech, a hotel in Marseille, a 5-star hotel in Bandol (with 3 restaurants), and a hotel in La Baule. A multitude of ambitious projects to come.
Interior Designer - Atelier GIFFON
After graduating from Lyon's École Supérieure d'Architecture Intérieure, Rémi Giffon spent most of his time working with the discipline's “referents”. His training took him across Europe, where he discovered approaches in Brussels that would have left many French institutions stunned - “you had to develop a spatial concept from music! -or in Barcelona, where he worked with Jean Nouvel's team. With his diploma just in hand, Rémi took up the challenge of the capital; the prestigious firm Wilmotte & Associés would see him evolve for three years. Working in a team where he rubbed shoulders with Koreans, Germans and English, the interior architect took advantage of this cosmopolitan emulation to pursue his “creative quest”. Since he had set himself the goal of setting up his own business before the age of thirty, Rémi made his dreams come true, leaving the workforce at the age of twenty-eight. L'Atelier Giffon is an interior design studio with 9 interior architects, including two partners, Hélène and Justine, specialized in high-end residential projects, which accompanies private and professional customers in the development of their projects, right down to the finishing touches. The studio designs and develops projects with a focus on authenticity and a dreamlike dimension. From chalets to private mansions, from high-altitude restaurants to hotel residences, the architects of Atelier Giffon create surprises and adorn interiors.
