The hotel industry is increasingly emulating the worlds of fashion and luxury in order to meet the needs of a mobile clientele looking for well-being. Younger consumers are shaking things and adopting new travel habits, whether it’s for work or pleasure. The boundaries between work and leisure are disappearing, and different expectations are emerging from this. Pleasure-driven travel and shopping are setting the pace for a freer lifestyle. The future is bright: partnerships that are currently underway are proof that big names in hospitality (and retail!) want to welcome each visitor less like a client and more like a guest.
