WEEK-END STORE - Far from Big Cities, Closer to Customers’ Needs

Monday 8 September — 12:00 - 12:45
The Talks — Hall 6

Description

In recent years, interior designers and a new wave of retailers have created high-end retail spaces in tourist regions — sometimes in very small towns. In a different context, such as weekends or holidays, a unique relationship develops with clients who take the time to choose carefully. This slower pace fosters a different kind of connection, one that supports interior design projects or helps find the perfect piece to keep or to gift.

Founder - La Maison Pernoise

Mediterranean by birth, my travels have opened me up to global craftsmanship and the blending of styles. From art direction in advertising agencies to managing IKEA, I have always enjoyed challenging conventions and creating new concepts. In 2013, after 10 years in Lille, I returned to Provence inspired by Belgian and Dutch concept stores and founded LA MAISON PERNOISE a Me,diterranean-minded brand dedicated to the home. A unique, creative, and welcoming space blending craftsmanship, design, and emotion, it is a place to be experienced as much as it is to be visited. In 2020, CASA PERNOISE extended the journey as a guesthouse. In 2022, we proudly received in Chicago the Global Award for Best Home Retail Concept. The concept keeps evolving, and the adventure continues!
