What is “taste” today? Is it a personal construction, a response to trends, or just a matter of a certain legacy? How do architects, designers, and brands define their taste when faced with the standardization of contemporary influences? Why is it crucial to proudly proclaim your taste in a world saturated with trends?

Founder - Genre Idéal & Producer and host of the podcast - Le goût de M

Géraldine Sarratia is a journalist and producer, founder of the studio Genre Idéal. Born in Biarritz, she joined the editorial team of Les Inrockuptibles in 2002. She wrote about music, society, style, and gender issues and served as editor-in-chief of the News section until 2018. On Radio Nova, she created and hosted the program Dans le genre. Since 2018, she has led Genre Idéal, the studio she founded. Among her missions: designing custom audio content for exhibitions, podcasts, texts, or media projects. For M Le Monde, she produces and hosts the weekly podcast Le Goût de M, where she explores the concept of taste through an intimate lens with a guest.

HMONP architect, Marine Bonnefoy works intuitively and bases her approach on a phenomenological perspective of architecture. Her relationship with space is not only intellectual but also emotional. She emphasizes the importance of atmosphere and well-being, embracing an increasingly liberated attitude toward decoration. Her projects become a theatrical staging of everyday gestures. In 2024, she completed the rehabilitation of a private mansion near Les Invalides, several apartments, the renovation of offices and studios for a renowned music and film production company, as well as the restoration of homes in Brittany and the Gard region.
