Marie-Ange Brayer is curator, head of the Design and Industrial Prospective collections at the Musée national d’art moderne, Centre Pompidou, Paris. Doctor in History of Art and Architecture (EHESS, Paris), she was scholarship in art history at the Villa Medici in Rome (1994-1996). From 1996 to 2014, she was director of the Frac Centre-Val de Loire in Orléans. At the Centre Pompidou, she was curator of “Printing the World” (2017), “Ross Lovegrove. Convergence” (2017), “La Fabrique du Vivant” (2019) and “Réseaux-mondes” (2022), with Olivier Zeitoun, and “Ettore Sottsass, the magical object” (2021). M-A Brayer defends a transversal approach to creation, questioning the societal and environmental issues of design and architecture today.
Curator, Supervisor of the design and decorative arts collection - Centre national des arts plastiques
Céline Saraiva is curator at the Centre national des arts plastiques (National Centre for Visual Arts, Cnap) in charge of the design and decorative arts collection, since February 2024. Between 2019 and 2023, she held the position of Deputy Curator in the design department of the Musée national d'art moderne, Centre Pompidou, Paris. In this position, she curated several exhibitions : L'enfance du Design, un siècle de mobilier pour enfants (April-August 2024); Intérieurs modernes, Hôtel des Arts de Toulon, (June-Oct. 2022); Ettore Sottsass, L'objet magique (Oct.21-Jan.2022). Since 2008, she has taught contemporary architecture analysis at the Camondo School in Paris. She has been responsible for a monthly column on architectural prospective for Beaux-arts Magazine since 2005.

Marie Godfrain is an independent journalist specializing in design, decor, craft, and architecture. Each week, she writes for M, le magazine and works for IDEAT and Le Quotidien de l'Art. Passionate about design since she was a teenager, Marie conveys this passion through the magazines she works with, as well as at ENSCI, where she teaches courses on design history. She has just published a biography of ceramic artist Frederick Gautier with Actes Sud. Through her work, she shows us that design goes well beyond just furniture-making: it supports and shapes ongoing societal shifts.
