Since August 9th, the health pass is required in cultural venues, leisure spaces, cafés and restaurants, as well as large events such as your Maison&Objet Paris fair.
An essential element for visitors to access public events and trade fairs, it will also allow travelers to move around more easily between countries within the European Union.
In France, 3 different types of certificates are possible:
A vaccination certificate provided by a healthcare professional with authorization to vaccinate (in a paper format or downloadable as a QR code from your ameli.fr account). Up to now, only vaccines from the Pfizer-BioNTech, AstraZeneca, Moderna and Johnson&Johnson laboratories are considered valid for the health
A certified negative RT-PCR or antigenic test that is less than 72 hours old, performed by a healthcare professional or in a lab (printed or digital).
A certificate of recovery from COVID-19; in other words, a positive result from an RT-PCR or antigen test that is over 11 days old and under 6 months old, for a person who has recovered.
Do you need a health pass to be able to visit the fair? You can be tested by our teams of professionals, who will have free antigen tests available at the entrance to the fair.
A chance for visitors who require valid proof of health status to receive an RT-PCR test at the fair from 8:00 to 12:00, with results available within 24 hours and sending by email. (Free of charge for French visitors, upon presentation of their Carte Vitale, and a paid service for non-French visitors: 45€ by credit card).
To travel within France and to Paris, the easiest solution remains getting vaccinated*: once your certificate has been provided, this health pass will allow you to fully enjoy your stay for as long as you like.
Not vaccinated yet? You can also provide a certified negative RT-PCR test that is less than 72 hours old or a certificate of recovery.
Any entries to France from countries outside the European area*, and other than Australia, South Korea, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, and Singapore, are strictly controlled.
Are you coming from another country and don’t want to miss the latest edition of the fair? You can still come to France under certain conditions. To find out about the latest guidelines in force, please refer to the relevant authorities listed in our section entitled And how can I find out more?
You have probably heard in the media that your trip to France was questioned due to new European directives. We confirm that France has not taken any new position on the subject and that the United States is still on the green list.
