Etienne Hermite, CEO of Unikbase since 2022, has a two-decade career in consulting, services, and technology. He started at Vivendi Universal's digital branch as a Business Development Manager after graduating from HEC in 1999. In 2004, Hermite joined the Boston Consulting Group as a Senior Strategy Consultant, working on diverse strategic projects. By 2006, he was at Groupe Fnac as Strategic Planning Manager, tasked with adapting business lines during the digital revolution. Hermite became the Strategy and Development Director for Western Europe at Avis Budget Group in 2008, focusing on strategic projects and digital services. He spearheaded the launch and development of Zipcar in continental Europe in 2014. In 2017, Hermite transitioned to an independent consultant role, aiding mobility startups in growth strategies. He took the helm as CEO of Navya, a tech company specializing in autonomous driving, in 2019. Hermite is deeply passionate about pioneering innovative technological services that transform our interaction with the physical world.
