Founder - YVES SALOMON
Established in Paris for decades, YVES SALOMON has always been the loyal partner of the great names in fashion and haute couture, who find here the best know-how essential to the influence of French luxury. YVES SALOMON has grown from a historic fur company to a luxury ready-to-wear house, offering two ready-to-wear lines a year, and is renowned for its expertise in the upcycling of vintage and off-cut skins, using exclusive techniques - starting with intarsia, a unique flexible marquetry technique, in its historic workshops in the 10th arrondissement of Paris. Heir to a long tradition where creation and discretion have always gone hand in hand, Yves Salomon, president of the eponymous Maison he has been running since the '70s, is also a design enthusiast and avid collector who, for the first time, shares his expertise and enthusiasm in a line of furniture pieces signed Pierre Chapo, dressed one by one in hide scraps.
CEO - CHAPO CREATION
Parisian by birth, after studying at business school, Zoran Chapo joined the family business, CHAPO CREATION, in 2020 as sales manager. Following the untimely death of his father in 2021, Zoran took over the general management of the company, which he now runs with his mother-in-law. Since then, he has divided his time between the boutique offices in Marseille and Gordes, in the Luberon region, where for several days a week he directs the work of the craftsmen and the production team. In three years, business has more than tripled, thanks to the development of new collaborations with a solid network of retailers around the world and multiple relationships with various players in the world of interior design and decorators. Today, Zoran Chapo is committed to preserving and developing the family name, while upholding the values cherished by his father and grandfather before him: creation, craftsmanship, excellence and made in France.
