The eco-friendly itinerary

Sustainable development has been part of MAISON&OBJET’s DNA for a very long time. This growing awareness was first formalised in 2011 with the birth of the fil vert “green itinerary”, which identified those exhibitors committed to an environmentally-friendly, ethical and fairtrade approach.

In a context in which, now more than ever before, the way products are manufactured and our behaviour as consumers have become matters of global importance, this visit itinerary is changing names and growing in importance.

Welcome to the SUSTAINABLE route, our new eco-friendly visit itinerary that showcases a curated selection of French and international exhibitors chosen by a jury of independent experts. These exhibitors all meet the criteria of the charter defined by MAISON&OBJET focusing on 3 major aspects: sustainable procurement, a “less is more” ethos (or how to produce better with less by reducing, reusing and recycling) and finally showing respect for our fellow human beings and the environment.

It is a way for MAISON&OBJET to join you in the quest for inspirational and virtuous forms of design.
