Fashion with a Heart.
Baskets that give back. Discovered in 2014 by Michal in a remote rural village inaccessible by car, the artisan weavers of these baskets have adapted their traditional weaving techniques passed down through families for generations for Mowgs.
Made from RECYCLED strapping, a waste byproduct of the local market, the weavers combine intense colour with amazing artistic skill and incredible durability.

We pay weavers before production starts and we pay a higher price per piece than local market value.

Ethical, MOWGS works to support four remote communities in Burma. This year we supported 130 children
