ANNA BADUR is a Berlin-based designer creating ceramics, textiles, furniture and accessories inspired by natural elements and processes. With her experimental work she obscures the boundaries between fine and applied arts. The work of ANNA BADUR, who studied at the Design Academy Eindhoven in the Netherlands is consistently process-driven; this approach ensures each final design is as unique as the method that informs it. While based in Berlin, BADUR is very much inspired by the coastal area of her homeland in northwest Germany. Variations of wind and sea seem ubiquitous in BADUR’s aesthetic. The contemplative colouring and the calm, minimalistic structures are not in small part influenced by her Nordic coastal heritage.
