TOLIX

Les Halles / Marais / Bastille

Itinerary: Iconic Design — EPV

The French company TOLIX has been manufacturing and designing metal furniture since 1927. The model A chair has become an icon of industrial design. Its ongoing popularity since the 1930s has brought it into the collections of the Vitra Design Museum, MoMA and Centre Pompidou. Both fashionable and popular, TOLIX achieves an alchemy between beauty and utility, color and sheet metal, interiors and exteriors, solidity and lightness, practical meaning and pure lines, tradition and avant-garde. TOLIX was awarded the "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant” (Living Heritage Company) label in 2006. For Paris Design Week, Tolix unveils "PATIO" for the first time in France, its new outdoor collection designed by Pauline Deltour that combines elegance, timelessness and lightness.
