Description
Florent Tanet (1987) is a French photographer who works in Paris. A graduate of the Ecole Duperré, he started working as a first assistant to creative director Marc Ascoli, before becoming a trend stylist, then artistic director at Lacoste. Noted for his photo exhibit at the Grande Epicerie of Le Bon Marché in Paris in 2013, and winner of the PDN Emerging Talent award in 2017, he dedicates his time exclusively to photography and art direction, with a strong penchant for still lifes.
His work has been exhibited in several galleries, including the MOPLA in Los Angeles (2017), Photoville in Brooklyn (2013), Villa Necchi Campiglio in Milan (2015), Galerie Madé in Paris (2019), and The Photographers’ Gallery (digital) in London (2021), and has been the subject of articles in several magazines and publications such as Things Organized Neathly - Rizzoli, It’s Nice That, Fisheye, Etapes, Il post, Gestalten, The Steidz, and more. He also works for a certain number of magazines and brands, including The New Yorker, T, The New York Times, AnOther, Le Monde, SZ Magazin, FT WK Magazine, Die Zeit, Libération, Vogue, Crash, Wallpaper, Chanel, Hermes, Issey Miyake, Nike, Valentino, Margiela, Microsoft, and more.
