« Vitrine pour un Designer » is an initiative that began in 2005, commissioned by the Rotary Club Tournai 3 Lys. Tournai Haut-Escaut and Roubaix are today part of the organization. The objective of Vitrine pour un Designer is to encourage young designers to be able to live from their creations. This Biennale is also a window into the rich and dynamic worlds of design & textile at the heart of Paris, London and Brussels, allowing young designers to submit and defend their projects in front of a professional jury. Those selected will have the opportunity to exhibit their work to a large public, and also build a media showcase. Rotary sponsors who are professionally active mentor the talents. After Constance Guisset in 2016, the 7th Biennale will be under the presidency of the Belgian designer, Alain Gilles. At the 7th Biennale 2017-18, all of the Euroregion will be able to benefit! #VP1D7 will pursue its endeavours in a Euroregional platform of several itinerant exhibitions.
