Palais-Royal / Place des Victoires / Pigalle

As part of this year’s Paris Design Week, Tai Ping places special significance on the association of red, white and blue with an eye-catching exhibition at its Place des Victoires showroom, designed and curated by Hong Kong-based artist Stanley Wong (aka anothermountainman), to celebrate the hongkongese origins of the brand. In France, the combination of the three colours immediately brings to mind the national flag—the famous tricolore. It is also a powerful symbol in Hong Kong: luck, good fortune and the city’s positive energy. The focal point of the Paris show is Hong Kong Walk On I—one of the most remarkable rugs the brand has ever produced. Measuring 3X6 metres, it is the result of both exceptional savoir-faire and outstanding technical prowess. See more
