FONDATION LE CORBUSIER

The Maison La Roche, built between 1923 and 1925 by Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret, is a manifesto of modern architecture. Designed for art collector Raoul La Roche, it was the first project where Le Corbusier applied his “Five Points of a New Architecture”: pilotis, roof terrace, open plan, free façade, and ribbon windows. A true architectural promenade, this purist house-gallery blends pure forms, natural light, and functionality, embodying the principles of modernism. A must-see masterpiece! In September, it will host an exhibition by artist Lilian Tomasko, offering a unique dialogue between contemporary art and architecture.
