"Le Monde à la Une": 80 Years, 80 Unique Lamps 80 lamps that tell the story of Le Monde, available for purchase from September 5th: an initiative by designers Claire Renard and Jean-Sébastien Blanc of Studio 5.5, in partnership with Tetra Pak, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the newspaper. For the past three years, these pioneers of upcycling have been designing the scenography for the Festival du Monde using waste from the newspaper's printing process. To further this approach, they have created a collection of 80 unique lamps, made from cardboard, newspaper, and recycled Tetra Pak packaging. Each reading lamp is numbered from 1944 to 2023, as it is printed with a front page from the corresponding year. During Paris Design Week, an installation will allow visitors to travel around the world in 80 lamps.See more
