Glass vials for collecting tears at funerals, inspired by ancient Roman myth.

The hand, that of the families, that of the deceased, of those who preserve the ashes while waiting for a place of remembrance. Words, is an ode to the hand and to those who seek words, when there is nothing to say, or when words do not come.

Soleil, Axelle Dorlot. Limoges porcelain, enamel, platinum, 2024.

Inspired by the tapestries of 1950s animated films, these pieces serve both as wall mirrors and centerpieces. Their concave surface captures and distorts reflections of the surroundings, playing with perception.
