Basny rugs combine the tradition of Ukrainian weaving and the visual perspective of the present. The creative freedom of the imagery, production technique, and natural environment where the artisans work ensure each item's uniqueness. See more

The design was created using a program code inspired by images from a mountain walk. The two-color abstraction mirrors a wintry night scene, where snow blankets the landscape beneath the moonlight.

A collaboration between Basny Rugs and Volodymyr Pavlov. The design draws inspiration from the columnar foundation of the three-part plan in traditional wooden churches.

The spontaneous shapes found along the trails of the Ukrainian Gorgany mountain range. Its color scheme is inspired by the palette of Xanthoria Parietina, a foliose lichen inhabiting stones, walls, and tree bark.

A blend of mountain river curves and rock veins slitting the monolithic cliff. Despite its apparent chaos, this pattern shapes a nuanced rhythm, subtly guiding the eye and the thought.
