ASTRE MOBILE

Opéra / Concorde / Etoile

Astre Mobile is a transparent car that invites us to see differently. Part artwork, part mobile cabinet of curiosities, it transforms the automobile into a vehicle for poetic exploration. Created by Antoine Tauvel for Maison Lacmé, it brings together ten French master artisans. Gold, onyx, wood, leather, feathers, lacquer, porcelain and seashells create a world where every material tells a story. From the steering wheel to the dashboard, familiar car components are reimagined. Some become independent objects, such as hubcaps turned into lamps or a car emblem transformed into jewelry. Astre Mobile celebrates time, movement and the stars, inviting visitors to rediscover wonder. See more
