Paris Design Week Factory

True to their practice of repurposing everyday objects, Anthony Lebossé and Vincent Baranger of Studio 5.5 conceived the Volt Face collection of objects and furniture, starting from Schneider Electric's ODACE range of switches and sockets. It served as the starting point for this intervention, which reveals the richness of materials, colours and finishes of these electrical fittings. "The sockets and switches are here repeated, assembled and repurposed until they form a new constructive material," say Vincent Baranger and Anthony Lebossé, co-founding designers of the studio. And so were born a bench, a wall light, a bedside table, a pendant lamp, and surprising lamps ready for interaction. See more
