CANADA GOOSE BASECAMP AT LE BHV - WEATHER PATTERNS

Les Halles / Marais / Bastille

Itinerary: Art — Fashion

6th-25th September Canada Goose ‘Weather Patterns’ at L’Observatoire at BHV. The installation utilises a series of Canada Goose swatches of fabric, representing the Northern Lights. The very same material that protects the Canada Goose wearer. Visitors are invited to travel through a spiral shelter offering two distinct experiences: the periphery, where they encounter weather sounds from Canadian cities to the sheltered interior, for immersive atmospheric conditions, reminding us that the patterns of the universe guide us. To conceptualise the installation, the Toronto-based brand partnered with Public Studio, a Canadian art collective founded by filmmaker Elle Flanders and architect Tamira Sawatzky, renowned amongst other for their artwork at the Canadian embassy in Paris.
