ATELIER NÉERLANDAIS

Rive Gauche

The Atelier Néerlandais, cultural platform of the Dutch Embassy, presents in cooperation with Paris Design Week, recent work of 7 young designers or duo's of Dutch origin or trained in the Netherlands, and nominated for the Rising Talents Award 2022: Hanna Kooistra, Ruben Hoogvliet & Gijs Wouters, Théophile Blandet, Visser & Meijwaard, Seok-Hyeon Yoon, Simone Post, Sanne Terweij. This edition’s seven Rising Talents come from quite diverse places, they also have a number of common denominators, the most striking of which is a fascination for materials and a quest to develop new processes for them. There is also a real concern for the environmental and the social impact of their work and there are qualities that many examples of Dutch design definitely share — originality, cleverness and a sense of delight.
