• The Observatoire is made up of:
- 3 style agencies: François Bernard for Croisements, Vincent Grégoire for NellyRodi and Elizabeth Leriche for the Elizabeth Leriche agency
- Yves Marbrier, design consultant
- Marie-Jo Malait, journalist and editor in chief of the Inspirations trend books, M&Oxygène and the MAG online
- Philippe Chomat, SAFI Communications Director
- the La Forge studio, in charge of art direction for the Inspirations trend book
- Philippe Mallier, sound designer
• The approach:
During their work meetings, the members of the Observatoire bring together their striking discoveries, their emotions and their intuitions about emerging lifestyles. This time of collegial brainstorming helps define a topic as the running theme of the season. Emotions, Desires, Secret, Luxuries, Use, Intensity—the themes refer to major, all-encompassing trends and not the whims of fashion.
The theme is developed in 3 modes:
