Odile Decq opened her agency immediately after graduating with a degree in architecture and urban planning. International renown came early with the Banque Populaire de l’Ouest in Rennes in 1990 and the Golden Lion in Venice in 1996. For fifteen years, Odile Decq has developed design projects alongside her architectural productions: furniture for UNESCO in Paris, armchairs for the Opera Garnier restaurant, light fixtures for MACRO in Rome and the Pavillon 8 in Lyon.
