THE REDGARDEN DE CHRISTOPHE GAUTRAND pour TANQUERAY

Opéra / Concorde / Étoile

Itinerary: Food

The garden of the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Paris is dressed in the colors of Tanqueray gin and proposes a new cocktail menu and monumental, custom-made vegetation composition, “The Red Garden”, by landscape designer Christophe Gautrand on the Bar 8 terrace. This dialogue between the Parisian palace, Tanqueray (a reference in the gin world since 1830) and Christophe Gautrand is an essential stop during Paris Design Week 2017. Christophe Gautrand imagines an unusual plant installation subtly blending the elegant, avant-garde world of Tanqueray with Shibari, the Japanese art of bondage (tieing up with cords) to integrate Mandarin Oriental’s luxurious, enchanting garden.
